Worth The Splurge!

One of the items I definitely think is worth a splurge is hair care! When it comes to hair you need the best, and while that varies with everyone, for me it's Bumble & Bumble. I am in love with this brands products, until Bumble & Bumble my hair just wasn't getting the love it deserved! My husband had convinced me to buy this product quite some time ago and I haven't looked back since. I was skeptical at first as these seemed to be significantly higher in cost than the typical products I was used to but I figured why not? Well, you know that feeling you get when you just come out of a 90 minute deep tissue massage? Completely relaxed, stress free and light, like you weigh as much as a feather? Well that's totally how my hair would tell you it felt after using Bumble & Bumble...that is if it could talk. My ultimate favorite for shampoo is Gentle 'It moisturizes and adds shine as it gently cleanses - a must for dry, damaged, chemically treated or over styled hair.' And for conditioner I go for the Super Rich 'La Crème de la Comb - especially coarse, chemically-treated or generally parched - it detangles, softens, and restores luster and spring.' I have also tried the crème de coco shampoo 'An extra-mild, luxurious cleanser with a blend of moisture-rich Coconut and Murumuru Butters to help restore sheen and softness, improve flexibility and minimize frizz.' And of course the matching conditioner is the crème de coco conditioner 'A moisture-rich conditioner that softens, adds shine, improves flexibility, and tames frizz.' While I really enjoyed this pair and would even recommend it...I do stay loyal to the Gentle and Super Rich. Here's a big secret of mine...I haven't cut my hair in over a year...nope, not even an inch. This is a big no-no but I simply can't help it, I am petrified of cutting my hair, scared to have something go wrong, scared to hate it afterwards, or simply miss the length. So yes, it has been over a year since I visited a salon for a cut...don't judge me though, my hair is in amazing condition, thanks to Bumble & Bumble. I have not one split end and despite the fact that I straighten my hair on a weekly basis I have no sign of dry hair. My hair feels exactly the way the bottle tells me it will...cleansed, soft, shiny and full of luster. My husband uses the Tonic shampoo 'This daily favorite has tea Tree Oil & Peppermint extracts to soothe the scalp, balance oil, stimulate circulation, and leave the scalp tingling and hair soft and shiny.' He uses no conditioner and still has amazing looking, and feeling hair, so it must be doing something right. Another of my favorite from Bumble & Bumble is Bb Shine...but that`s a whole other post...for now let`s just say...amazing!
