Leighton Meester is officially a repeat offender. I wasn't going to do my next 'What Was She Thinking' on Leighton but I had no choice after seeing this horrific outfit. You would certainly think that a woman who has worked on one of televisions best-dressed shows would have a clue when it comes to fashion.
For four seasons she has played fashionista Blair Waldorf, who has amazing style from head to toe so Leighton has no excuse for this. Does she have a personal stylist? If she does they should seriously be dismissed from their position. Maybe she doesn't have a stylist? But wait, that's no excuse, surely she had to have had a friend or family member tell her this is completely un-attractive, not to mention quite trashy. Lace is usually associated with classy garments, however if your whole entire body is covered in it and nothing else than chances are you aren't looking classy. Her hair isn't looking to hot in this picture either. She doesn't even qualify as a 'hot mess' in this ensemble.
Many are saying Leighton is attempting to prove that she is bolder than her on screen character Blair, well mission accomplished, but not in a good way. Please do yourself a favor Leighton and bring some Gossip Girl into your closet. Designer is Marchesa.
